As a beginner, it would be like planting an affiliate money tree. Just find the products on clickbank, follow established guide lines, work at it and watch your income come in. You could watch your affiliate money tree grow.
Affiliate Marketing Part 4 – Where to Find Products
As mentioned before, in part 3 of this series, you can find buyers and products via Amazon, eBay and Clickbank. This is only a starting point. Don’t limit yourself to these resources.
Clickbank products are extremely popular because it satisfies the buyers "I want it now" impulse and therefore you can find thousands of digital products on there. They range from eBooks, websites, graphics, to software.
Keep this in mind, just finding a product that you are interested in or that you think will sell well, just isn’t enough. You need to do your due diligence on that product or at least on that products category.
As an example, lets say you are really keen to become an affiliate of a weight loss product. How do you find the right product to promote? How do you know if it will sell? These questions are easily answered via Clickbank’s product data info. You can find out exactly what product is selling well and if it is a high refund item or not. You will easily have all the information that you need to make an informed decision about which item to sell. This eliminates the guessing.
Keyword research will also play an important role in selecting your product.
Although it is outside the scope of this series, you can also look into drop shipping. This concept is fairly simple. You put up a website with actual products from an actual supplier and when people buy from your site, you get a commission.
You can usually set your own prices to create a better margin. The products are delivered to the buyer directly from the supplier.
So now you know where to find products and how to find a product that sells. Use this information well and don’t take it lightly. I wouldn’t want you to waste your time by cutting corners.
